TSgt Micah P. McCullough

TSgt McCullough Technical Sergeant McCullough is the NCOIC, Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Detachment 310, at Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, LA.

Sergeant McCullough was born October 28, 1966, in Little Rock, Arkansas, and graduated from Benson High School, Omaha, NE, in 1985. He earned a diploma from the United States Air Force Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Air University in Dec 2006, attended Airman Leadership School in 1997, and was appointed as a Noncommissioned Officer in the grade of Staff Sergeant on June 1999. He completed HQ Air Mobility Command, Air Mobility Warfare Center in 2002. He also successfully completed the first Personnel Support for Contingency Operations, PERSCO and MAMPER-B 7.0 System Fundamentals class in 2002. After graduating from USAF Basic Training, He was assigned to Sheppard Air Force Base, TX, where he completed Apprentice Airlift Aircraft Maintenance Specialist course in June 1994.

Upon completion of technical training at Sheppard Air Force Base, TX, he was assigned to the 41st Electronic Combat Squadron, Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, AZ, until 1996. At Davis-Monthan, he served as Isochronal Inspection Section Team Member and was the Repair and Reclamation Craftsman for Crash and Recovery. In 1997, Tech Sergeant McCullough crossed-trained into the Personnel career field and was assigned to Component Repair Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, AZ.

In July 1997, Sergeant McCullough transferred to Luke AFB, Arizona, as Unit Personnel Manager, 56th Component Repair Squadron. In 1999, he became the Retirements and Separations Journeyman, 56th Missions Support Squadron, and in 2000 became NCOIC, Commander’s Support Staff of the 56th Logistics Support Staff. In 2001, he returned to the Mission Support Squadron, where he was assigned to the MPF Customer Service Section as Assistant NCOIC. In 2003, he transferred to the 56th Equipment Maintenance Squadron, as Chief of Commander’s Support Staff. In 2005, he became the NCOIC, AFROTC Detachment 310 Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA.

Tech Sergeant McCullough is a Personnel Craftsman with a litany of experience in the personnel community. His military awards and decorations include the Air Force Achievement Medal, AF Good Conduct Medal with 4 devices, National Defense Service Medal with one device, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Tech Sergeant McCullough is married to the former LaVonda Annquennetta Powell of Burlington, NC. They have two daughters and a son, Adrienne, 14, Micah, 5 and Gabrielle, 5.
